Where should the QR menu go on the table?

Guests shouldn't have to look for the menu. It should be in front of them the moment they sit down.

In short
  • Put the table card on the free corner, not under the plates.
  • Face it toward the guest who sits down, not the server.
  • On a small table, stick it to the napkin holder; add a QR to the bill folder too.

Why it matters

A guest who can't find the menu waits for the server, and the server is busy at another table. With the QR at eye level, ordering starts sooner and the table turns sooner.

Where to put it

1 · Free corner 2 · Napkin holder 3 · Bill folder

1. Free corner. The corner no plate or glass touches, facing the guest. 2. Napkin holder. On a small table, stick the card next to the napkin holder. 3. Bill folder. A second QR that comes with the bill: if you have a website, have it open the page with your Google reviews.

Do it in the panel

  1. Open your menu's QR code screen In the side menu, press QR code under Design; the first code opens the whole menu. Name it "Table".
  2. Put your logo in the middle A medium logo is enough; with a logo the code is drawn to tolerate more errors, so it still scans.
  3. Download the table card SVG for the print shop, PNG for a quick test. Write the table number on the card.
  4. Check a week later On your menu's Analytics screen, compare visitors with the week before you moved the card.
Measure: a menu opened from a QR usually shows up as Direct in Analytics sources; the camera app doesn't say where the visit came from. A week after moving the card, check your visitors and that row again.
